Nikola Tesla

Nikola Tesla was a Serbian-American inventor, electrical engineer, mechanical engineer, physicist, and futurist who is best known for his contribution to the design of the modern alternating current electricity supply system.
He was born in the Austrian Empire in 1856, he received an advanced education in engineering and gained practical experience working in telephony and in the electric power industry.
He was also one of the greatest contributors to the "wireless communication".

My favourite sportsperson

My favourite sportsperson is Roger Federer, he is a Swiss  tennis player, born in Basilea in 1981.

In tennis you have to wear a t-shirt, shorts and trainers, the players don't use special equipment. 

He is the player who has been more time first in the ATP ranking, for a good four years.

I like him because of his constancy, in fact, despite he is 36 years old, he is still to the top and he continues to win anything.

He is the player who has won more titles of "Grand Slam", the most important whole of competitions of tennis, he has won eight Wimbledon titles, five Australian Open titles, five US Open titles and one French Open title, together with a lot of less important trophies.

He has also won an Olympic gold medal at 2008 Summer Olympic Games.

Noel Gallagher

Similarly to "The Beatles", that split up, the famous band "Oasis", formed by two brothers, Liam and Noel Gallagher, after a backstage fight, in 2009, split up.
This separation was very bitter, because, among the other things, they were brothers.
Noel Gallagher has always said that he wasn't excited about this thing, and that it's a shame that it ended for a quarrel.

My favourite colour is blue, it is a colour that suggests peace, the colour of the sea and the clear sky, both of which are linked to serenity.

Blue is also associated to intelligence and confidence, in fact, blue is related to a calm authority, it inspires trust.

Finally, blue isn't a very emotional colour, it can be described as aloof and cold

My surname is Pacifico, it is a typical campanian and apulian surname, it derives from the latin name "Pacificus", a name widespread in 1300.
The meaning is "peaceful".

Saint Patrick day

Saint Patrick day is a celebration of Christian origin, it is celebrated on March 17 in honor of Saint Patrick, the patron Saint of Ireland.
During the Saint Patrick day is custom to have lunch with typical drinks and dishes.
The most drinking drinks are alcoholic, the cider and the beer.
One of the symbols of this celebration is the Guinnes, the most famous beer in Ireland

Avril Lavigne was born in Belleville, Ontario on September 27th 1984.
The Canadian singer has become a star in 2002 when she released her debut album "Let go", she was just 17 years old at that time, almost ten years later, she is still a star.
Some of her hobbies are, obviously music, to be a fashion designer and cinema, in fact, in her free time, she is also an actress.

Biocube

Readwritethink.org is a website where you can create a biocube, a cube with various details of one character that you decide. I had to talk about one character of Black History Month, and I have chosen Gandhi. He was a very good and determined person.
Gandhi was born in Nuova Delhi in 1869, he is famous for his action, in particular for his campaign of non-violence for the conquest of India's independence, and he has become one of the symbols of peace.
He was one of the pioneers of "Satyagraha", the resistance to oppression through mass civil disobedience, that led India to independence.
To do what he did, he had to overcome the big obstacle of apartheid, racial segregation law in force in his era, which provided big disadvantages to black people.
One of the most important quotes of Gandhi is "Be the change that you want to see in the world", I really like it because I think that it has a lot of significance.
